My Wife and I had Tom and Eli at MYT install a comprehensive solar/inverter/EMS/24-volt system into a new ORV 29-TRX-T. Tom spent time to figure out what we wanted out of a system and then made it happen. We run dirtbikes and play in the desert, we wanted a system where we can boondock many days and get a shower and have cold AC when we hit the trailer. This system will run the AC and still have power from solar to charge the batteries. Rare in today's world, MYT met every promise made to us. Delivery was on time, everything worked first time, very clean install. We recently needed a refresher on wifi driven remote monitoring of the system, Tom spent a couple hours making sure we were comfortable in how Starlink matched up with our Victron system components. Tom is a craftsman, you can tell when someone has pride in their product. Tom can remote diagnose problems should they arise via the web - no matter where we are. But - Set your expectations high-they will be exceeded. Communication-from consultation to installation to delivery, 10 of 10. Recommends a system to meet/exceed your needs. Value-You get what you pay for! There are cheaper systems and installers, but you want the industry's best?-MYT hands down! Quality-MYT uses the best parts on the market-Victron. It's a system like Apple - all the parts/components are designed to work together, recognize each other and make a great system. Experience-Team MYT knows RVs. I'd say their strength is Outdoors RV campers. And Solar? They know solar! After sales/installation service? - MYT will be there for you (if you need it.) With a top-notch system serious complications should be few. The learning curve is steep-but Tom personally goes over the system (2 hours) with the owners. And-they reply to emails and texts as soon as possible, not a call center in another country. The installation went as planned and was completed early. The RV was immaculate, no lingering sawdust, etc. The system is working well. We would like to have written information. MYT Solar did a large solar, lithium battery, and Victron install on my new all-season travel trailer. Not only was the installation immaculate and a pleasure to look at but their after-installation service is outstanding. My batteries got too cold in my trailer by accident in the winter and were not recharging as a result. It was 35° in my trailer with an hour left of sunlight. MYT Solar was on the phone with me within a half an hour (as soon as they could) of my desperately reaching out to them via text that I had a dead rig, it was freezing outside, and it would be dark soon. They remotely logged in and also walked me through other procedures to troubleshoot the issue. After they troubleshooted my batteries were too cold to recharge, they asked if I had a space heater. Thankfully I had a space heater which they suggested to warm up the batteries so they could then start recharging from shore power. It wasn't long after that the batteries were warmer, started recharging from shower power, the lights came on, I could turn the furnace on, and I would have a warm trailer and restful sleep that evening. The fact they were on the phone with me after hours during dinner time for almost an hour was exceptional customer service. Just can't say enough good things about the work Tom, Ely and Jake did on my solar/ lithium battery upgrade to my Outdoors RV travel trailer. This process for me started almost a year prior to the actual install and throughout the entire time they were always quick to respond to questions and changes regarding my needs. As far as the actual build went, topnotch work and attention to detail are the trademarks this team is all about. As with all of their installs that I have seen on YouTube, mine is truly a thing of beauty. I firmly believe that you get what you pay for and even though this build certainly cost me a couple of bucks, it was worth every penny! My advice? Don't cheap out! I'm deeply disappointed that after all the times I've given thumbs up on their videos, that they are not the helpful people their videos and how Thompson RV represents them with their joint videos...helpful, expert, etc. I sent them an email requesting info about the rails they used in a video with the Rich 335watt panels. I then asked if I could get some guidance that I was willing to pay for. I received a 1-sentence reply that siad no help available and then nothing about the rails that I specifically asked about. They couldnt send me a link about the rails? They couldnt ask me about my question? They couldnt refer me out? NOT Ahelpful. Not cool, It's not like they leave helpful links below their videos like so many other vloggers.
